If you do things right, the ratio between your high and low estimates should be somewhere within a factor of two to ten, depending upon the nature of the problem.
Perhaps I am missing something, but, I think that "the ratio between your high and low estimates should be within a factor of two to ten" makes no sense. It's either "the ratio between the high and low estimates should be within the range from two to ten" or " the high and low estimates should be within a factor of two to ten."
